From the Desk of Mr. Duncan Hanlon

Dear Friend,

It is with deep sense of trust and brotherliness that I submit this humble, beneficial proposal to you for your consideration. I am deeply sorry if I’ve in any manner perturbed your privacy.

I’m Mr. Duncan Hanlon, Finance Director, ING Direct UK. In our last auditing, I discovered a dormant account with US$ 15,500,000.00 (Fifteen Million, Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars only) that was deposited by our customer, late Dr. Edward Newton, who died in an auto accident in Newcastle, United Kingdom, six years ago with his wife and two daughters.

During the period of our investigations I discovered that the deceased didn’t nominate any next of kin in his file with us. Further more since his death no one has come forth to claim the funds. All efforts made to trace his relations have proved impossible.

Since his death the account has been dormant. Therefore, I decided to contact you, to seek your consent to enable us jointly claim the deposit/funds from ING Direct UK and transfer it to your account as designated next of kin to our late client. With the consent of the late client’s solicitors, they shall nominate you as the next of kin, sole beneficiary to the deposit/funds. After transfer of funds to your account, you shall retain 46%, while 48% will be mine, and 6% set aside for expenses both parties might incur (if any) during and after the transaction.

Take notice that the funds shall be transferred to your account once we get all relevant approvals to facilitate wire to your account. I am contacting you in consideration of the fact that you and I can achieve this succesfully. I need your assistance to get these accomplished as the most important subject is for us is to obtain the payment approval from our office, which based on my position in the company I can guarantee you is very possible.

I’ve all the necessary information about the deceased, which shall help us to claim the fund successfully. Your positive response will be highly appreciated to enable me favour you with further information. I shall expect you to show a very high level of confidentiality in executing this transaction. It’s paramount to treat and handle this transaction as highly confidential at all times.

Do not hesitate to contact me via my Tel No; +44 798 454 1330 or on my personal email; duncanhanlon2009@... for any clarification you may desire. Thanking you in advance for your cooperation.

Regards,
Mr. Duncan Hanlon.
